It took me a long time to truly appreciate the unique art of Steve Ditko. I believe my first Ditko experience was a story featuring The Creeper. His style was so different from that of other artists that I interpreted it as "amateurish" or "wrong." This was a serious error in judgment. Prepare to be riveted by this pre-Spider-Man horror tale from Do You Believe in Nightmares? #1 (November 1957, St. John). If you're hungry for more, visit BobH's Steve Ditko Comics Weblog.
