I love this story. Almost as much as Wolverton's tale of the mental patient who sees crab-men come into the ward at night (and eventually becomes one).He was a big influence on my series The World Below. The Brain Bats of Venus inspired this story.Paul Chadwick
Wolverton is one of the true originals. His freakish faces are carved in the Comics Mount Rushmore.
