Dial S For Springer

I was reading Mark Evanier's blog News From Me when I learned the sad news of the passing of comic artist Frank Springer at the age of 79. I was most familiar with the comic book parodies he drew for National Lampoon, but Frank did work for Dell, Marvel, and DC and was thrice awarded "Comic Book Artist Of The Year" by the National Cartoonists Society. Here is the "Dial H For Hero" story he pencilled and inked for House Of Mystery #171 (Dec. 1967).
