That perennial do-gooder and advice giver Mary Worth gets hers in this acerbic parody from Panic #11 (Oct-Nov 1955). Jack Mendelsohn scripts and Will Elder draws as Mary goes from apartment to apartment, "mending the twisted souls of...poor unhappy people."
Nowadays, Mary and her comic strip contemporaries get ravaged on a regular basis over at The Comics Curmudgeon. I know you know that. It just made me feel better to say it.
