References to "mod styles" and "Diner's Club" aside, there is still a lot of relevance in these witty observations by Lloyd Gola.

Lloyd was just as funny in person as he was in his cartoons. He was part of our Middle Class Rat Pack in St. Clair Shores, Mich. in the 60's. His recent passing leaves a void in our lives. Dozens of friends waited eagerly for his home-made Christmas card. When we didn't get one last year, we knew something was wrong. Things are right now, because he is in a better place, out of pain, and still clinging to his beloved Univ. of Michigan sweat shirt. Diane and Sid Morris Miami
