It takes a rare degree of dedication to acquire this many lunch boxes. I was surprised to see the Julia lunch box, then The Flying Nun lunch box came into view. I don't remember ever using a lunch box in school because I always ate the cafeteria food.
Do you remember owning a cool or unusual lunch box? Fess up in the comments section.

I used to get a new lunch box at the beginning of every school year along with the new notebook, pens, pencils, etc. that fell into school supplies.
I had a "Peanuts", a "Six Million Dollar Man", a "Land of the Giants" and yes, even the afore-mentioned "Julia" lucnh box.
I think everybody must have owned that Peanuts lunch box at one time or another. Like Jeff, getting a new lunch box every year was as traditional as scoring the 64 box of Crayolas.
The Disney school bus lunch box was popular -- but the one I owned at one time had a fire truck motif. I remember this because a friend of mine in Catholic school had the same one and we once mixed up our lunches by mistake.
I had the Fireball XL5 lunchbox. I believe that, somewhere, I still have its Thermos.
